In summer, fajr time is very early and Isha is relatively late. As such, there is a very short amount of time to sleep, especially for working people. It is not recommended to sleep before Isha or after Fajr. What sleeping habits due you recommend during these weeks?
As Isha is late, can I pray it just before I sleep at night even though it is not officially Isha time according to the timetable? I have trouble waking for fajr if I sleep late
Allaah has created us to test us,
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent - [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed [Al Mulk 67:1-2]
Therefore, we should expect to undergo hardships. As far as the salaah times go, then we must know that these times have been fixed and appointed by Allaah. You happen to be living in a place where the times of the prayers are very close to one another in one season and very far apart in another. One must adapt during those seasons.
With respect to not sleeping before Maghrib or Fajr, then the reality is that it is not haraam although it might generally be disliked. However, bear in mind that when there is a need to do so there is no objection whatsoever (it is not even makrooh). It is advisable that one sleeps immediately after 'Ishaa, awaken for Fajr then sleep again during these months. As well, one may want to sleep before Maghrib or 'Isha to get ample sleep during these months. There is no harm in that at all Inshaa Allaah.
