Surrendering to the will of Allaah and being pleased in every situation is the hallmark of a true believer. We will certainly be tested, and a believer is thankful for all good that befalls him, and when he is faced with something 'bad', he is patient, submitting to the will of Allaah and seeking His help and reward. The lecture is a reminder that we are dealing with Allaah, and our reaction to all situations should be with this knowledge in mind.
